Steven Caplan, MD
Dr. Caplan is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and New York University School of Medicine. He completed his internship at Johns Hopkins Bayview/FSK Medical Center and received his dermatology training at the University of Maryland School of Medicine.
Dr. Caplan is on staff at both of York’s premier hospitals, York Hospital and Memorial Hospital. He is currently serving as Chief of Dermatology at York Hospital. He is active in providing dermatology training for residents from these hospitals. Dr. Caplan also serves on the staff of both Hanover Hospital and Gettysburg Hospital.
Dr. Caplan is Board Certified in dermatology by the American Board of Dermatology and holds memberships in several specialty associations including:

Dr. Caplan joined Dermatology Associates of York, Inc. in July 1996. He was instrumental in establishing the Center for Cosmetic Dermatology, a division of Dermatology Associates, in August 2004.
John G. Stoner, Jr. DO
Dr. Stoner, Jr., is a graduate of Lehigh University and the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed a one-year internship and an additional year of residency in Family Practice at the Heart of Lancaster Regional Medical Center.
Dr. Stoner completed his dermatology training at the Lehigh Valley Health Network in Allentown where he also served as Chief Medical Resident from 2010 to 2011. During his training, Dr. Stoner received several awards including the national 2010 Koprince Award and the 2011 James Bernard, D.O., FAOCD, AOCD Residency Leadership Award, both from the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology.
Dr. Stoner is Board Certified in dermatology by the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology and holds memberships in several specialty associations including:

Dr. Stoner provides dermatology training for residents from Memorial Hospital. He also holds staff positions at all local hospitals, including York, Memorial, Hanover and Gettysburg.
Dr. Stoner joined Dermatology Associates of York in August 2011. He practices general and surgical dermatology, with a special interest in diagnosis and treatment of bullous disorders.
Luciano J. Iorizzo, III, MD
Dr. Iorizzo is originally from Oswego, NY, a small city in upstate New York. He graduated from Union College with a Bachelor of Science. He then went on to complete his medical school training at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY and stayed there for a one-year internship in internal medicine.
Following this, Dr. Iorizzo completed his dermatology residency at the University of Rochester in Rochester, NY. During this time he served as Chief Resident from 2010-2011. After his residency, he went to Vanderbilt Medical University in Nashville, TN. At Vanderbilt, Dr. Iorizzo received training in the highly specialized area of Mohs micrographic surgery. Following fellowship training, Dr. Iorizzo worked in Albany, NY for three years as a Mohs surgeon and dermatologist.
Dr. Iorizzo is double board certified in Mohs Surgery and Dermatology by the American Board of Dermatology. He is also a member of several professional societies including:

Throughout his career, Dr. Iorizzo has numerous journal and book publications including articles in the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery. He has also presented numerous times at local, regional, and national conferences.
Dr. Iorizzo holds staff positions at all local hospitals, including York, Memorial, Hanover, and Gettysburg Hospitals.
Dr. Iorizzo joined Dermatology Associates of York in August 2015. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of all forms of skin cancer, performs Mohs micrographic surgery for skin cancers, and practices general dermatologic surgery.
Heather L. Salvaggio, MD
Dr. Salvaggio is a graduate of the State University of New York, College at Geneseo and the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine. She completed a one-year internship in internal medicine at York Hospital in York, PA. Her general dermatology training was completed at the Penn State/Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, PA. Dr. Salvaggio additionally completed a fellowship, specialized training, in pediatric dermatology at Northwestern University Children’s Memorial Hospital in Chicago, IL. Following this she was an attending dermatologist at Bassett Medical Center in Cooperstown, NY practicing general and pediatric dermatology. She served as an assistant clinical professor of dermatology at the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons while in Cooperstown.
Dr. Salvaggio is Board Certified in Dermatology and Pediatric Dermatology by the American Board of Dermatology and she holds memberships in professional organizations including:

Dr. Salvaggio holds staff positions at York, Memorial, Hanover and Gettysburg Hospitals.
Dr. Salvaggio has presented at national meetings and has written several publications. She joined Dermatology Associates of York in January 2016. She practices general medical and surgical dermatology and pediatric dermatology which is her area of special interest and expertise.
Ninad C. Pendharkar, MD, MBA
Dr. Pendharkar is a graduate of The Pennsylvania State University Abington College and the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine. He completed a one-year internship in internal medicine followed by a dermatology residency at the Penn State/Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, PA. Upon completion of his training, Dr. Pendharkar served for six years practicing general dermatology in the role of an attending Dermatologist at Geisinger in State College, PA.
While working full time, he completed a M.B.A. at Pennsylvania State University Smeal College of Business. Subsequently, he served as the Dermatology Clinic Director for Geisinger’s western region for two years. While in this role, he developed and implemented a leadership curriculum for dermatology residents at Geisinger.

Dr. Pendharkar has presented at national and local educational meetings on dermatologic and practice management topics and has published numerous articles on general dermatology topics. He has served on the American Academy of Dermatology’s State Policy Committee and currently serves as the Chair of the Self-Assessment Task Force. He is also the incoming President of the Penn State College of Medicine Alumni Board of Directors and holds staff positions at York, Memorial, Hanover and Gettysburg Hospitals.
Dr. Pendharkar joined Dermatology Associates of York in April 2018. He practices general medical and surgical dermatology.
Thomas J. Meskey, MD
Dr. Meskey is a graduate of The Pennsylvania State University earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology. The Doctor of Medicine degree was awarded from the University of Maryland School of Medicine. Dr Meskey completed a one-year internship in Internal Medicine and then a Dermatology residency at the Penn State/Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, PA where he served in the role of Chief Resident during his final year.
After completing his training, Dr. Meskey spent five years practicing general dermatology in Annapolis, Maryland. He returns to the Central Pennsylvania area to be closer to family.
Dr. Meskey is Board Certified in Dermatology by the American Board of Dermatology and holds membership in several specialty associations including:

Dr. Meskey has presented at educational meetings on clinical topics and published numerous general dermatology articles. He holds staff positions at Wellspan York, Wellspan Gettysburg, UPMC Memorial and UPMC Hanover Hospitals.
Dermatology Associates of York welcomed Dr Meskey to the practice in May of 2021. He sees general medical and surgical dermatology patients of all ages.
Stacy A. Klepeiss, MD
Dr. Klepeiss is a graduate of The Pennsylvania State University earning a Bachelor of Science in Pre-medicine degree with a Minor in Health Policy Administration. The Doctor of Medicine degree was awarded from The Pennsylvania State University Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. Dr Klepeiss then completed both her Internal Medicine Internship as well as her Dermatology Residency also at Milton S. Hershey Medical Center.
Upon completion of her training, Dr. Klepeiss worked as a Dermatology Staff Physician for Geisinger Health System for 12 years. In addition to taking care of her own patients, she also taught Dermatology and Family Practice Residents and Physician Assistants. She was instrumental in starting a local clinic using platelet rich plasma to treat hair loss.
Dr. Klepeiss is Board Certified in Dermatology by the American Board of Dermatology, is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. She also holds membership in several specialty associations including:

Dermatology Associates of York welcomed Dr Klepeiss to the practice in August of 2021. She sees general medical and surgical dermatology patients of all ages.
Nathan H. Leisenring, MD
Dr. Leisenring is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania earning a Bachelor of Arts degree, Summa Cum Laude, in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. His Doctor of Medicine degree was awarded by Duke University School of Medicine in Durham, North Carolina. Dr. Leisenring completed his Internal Medicine Internship at Lankenau Medical Center in Philadelphia after which he returned to North Carolina to complete his Dermatology Residency at Duke University School of Medicine. He received the J. Lamar Callaway Duke Dermatology Residency Teaching Award in 2024 for his work teaching medical students and dermatology residents. Dr Leisenring has also presented at national meetings for cancer research and dermatology. He worked extensively in cancer immunology and cancer biology research prior to his dermatology residency.
Dr Leisenring was born in Harrisburg and grew up in the Lancaster area where his family still resides. He is excited to be returning ‘home’ to serve the Central Pennsylvania community.
